Research and Industrial Experience

• Graduate Research Assistant

• Working on super-hydrophobic surfaces (SHS), fabricating different Al SHS surfaces(Materials: Al, PDMS) such as micro-scale roughness, nano-scale roughness and combination of micro-nano scale roughness to find the best SHS

• Collaborating with Biology department to perform the anti-biofouling test with best SHSs and compared with smooth Al surfaces

•  Characterizing surface topography and the experimental results by using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM),

• Working on PDMS Micro-channel with ordered groove to observe the bacterial attachment behavior using Digital holographic Microscopy (DHM)

• Worked on Digital holographic Microscopy to observe the bacterial motility both close to the wall and in the bulk region

Analyzed the DHM’s data with MATLAB image processing

• Undergraduate Research Assistant 

       April 2018 - May 2019

• Worked as an undergraduate research assistant in MµFEL lab from April 2018 to May 2019 on a High-speed aerodynamics project

• Developed a 2D computational model with shear stress Transport (SST) and T-ω two equation model to predict the flow pattern of the shock-cell structure of a converging model using Ansys(Fluent) simulation software

• Gambit was used for meshing while Tecplot used for post-analysis results

• Investigated the under-expanded supersonic jet behavior by determining the static pressure, and axial velocity at different positions of nozzle exit by varying the inlet pressure while back pressure was constant.

• Validated the numerical results against the existing experimental data in the literature

• Investigated the hysteresis behavior of the system

May-July 2021     Worked as an assistant engineer in Dhaka power distribution company (DPDC)

                         Worked on sub-station  and underground electric cable design 

       2018        Intern in Eastern Tube Ltd., Dhaka, Bangladesh. Obtained training on manufacturing and production procedures, control                            panel duties, machine maintenance and quality control of fluorescent tube company[see full report]

 

 

Teaching Experience

• Worked as a Lecturer at Department of Electrical and Electrical Engineering at Daffodil International University. (January 2021 – April 2021)

o  conducted ME 321:Basic Mechanical Engineering and ME 322:Basic Mechanical Engineering Sessional courses

• Worked as a Lecturer at Department of Mechanical Engineering in Sonargaon University (SU). (June 2019 – January 2020)
